This may sound off-topic, but have you ever noticed how, when cooking, even the smallest detail makes a huge difference in flavor?
For example, a pinch of salt can bring a bland salad to life, or a hint of acid can cut through the richness of a dish that’s way too sweet to eat and make it uniquely delicious.
Those small details can turn a forgettable meal you want to dump in the garbage into something crave-able you can’t get enough of.
Wondering what the heck seasoning food has to do with your body?
Well, when it comes to alignment, the small details are the “flavor bombs” for reducing pain and releasing tension.
Today’s video explores a small movement in your arm that adds the “pinch of salt” or “dash of vinegar” that restores alignment and relieves pain and tension in your elbows, neck, and shoulders.
After you give this new exercise seasoning a try, I’d love to know how it goes. You can let me know in the comments below.
Enjoy!

Hi Sydney,
This exercise nailed it for me. I have been aware of a great deal of tension that increases while knitting (a couple of hours at a time).. Yes, I was turning my arm originating in my shoulder. I will put my awareness to my lower arm, while trying to relax my shoulder.
I know this should bring me some improvement.
Thank you,
So happy this was helpful, Joy! Thanks for letting me know!
