When it comes to your body, the saying “keep doing what you've always done, and you'll keep getting what you've always gotten” has never been more true.
Practicing the same exercises the same way every time you do them is like updating your laptop with an update that’s already installed. As time goes on, the update becomes outdated, and your computer eventually breaks down.
It sounds a little dramatic, I know.
But when you change your exercise approach or add a new move or two, it’s like updating your body’s computer system with new data that keeps your body functioning and feeling great.
Want to know the best part?
You don’t have to make big, complicated changes. It can be as simple as approaching what you’re already doing from a different perspective.
In today’s video, I’ll show you a perspective shift on bicep curls that will update the data input for your arms.
This approach creates more balance (and tone!) in the arms while enhancing your mid-back connection.
When your mid-back is on board for arm work, you’ll be much less likely to overuse your neck and shoulders and might even find that tension naturally starts to melt away.
After you check it out and give it a try, I’d love to know how it goes. You can tell me in the comments below.
With a shift in perspective,
Sydney
P.S. If you like the perspective shift in this video, you’ll love the new online class series I’m teaching in the spring. It will help you harness the power of your body's natural intelligence through alignment so you feel stronger, more flexible, and free—no matter how old you are. More details are coming soon!
P.P.S. Don’t want to wait for more details and ready to get started feeling more freedom and ease in your body right now?

Hi Sydney 😊☀️
Yes, so helpful to release the stress on shoulders/neck, and be more aware of the engagement of arms and middle back, to a more relaxed and present life !
