At the beginning of September I learned some amazing things I can't wait to share with you when I attended the Fascia Research Summer School at Ulm University in Germany…
It was a fascinating six days of learning from leading scientists like Robert Schleip, Andry Vleeming, Carla Stecco and Tom Findley as they shared their latest research and discoveries in the world of fascia. (Fun fact: Klaus Eder, the physiotherapist for the National German Soccer Team gave the keynote!)
I'm really excited to teach you how all this cutting-edge science applies to Pilates and moving your body!
Marie-José Blom, the Smartspine™ System inventor, also gave a presentation at the fascia research event in Germany. She demonstrated how the SmartSpine™'s use of warmth, pressure and friction promotes and improves fascial glide, tissue softening and tissue hydration.
A neurosurgeon/scientist/researcher who has studied the effects of temperature on fascia attended Marie-José's presentation. At the end of her talk he approached her to tell her how impressed he was with the product and how well designed it is for working with the fascia.
Marie-José also showed techniques to restore breathing-movement restrictions and restore the breathing wave plus methods to assist talus glide and improve mobility of the tarsal joints .
I’ll be teaching these same techniques plus much more at the upcoming Smartspine™ workshop in October.
If you're a movement educator, or Pilates or yoga teacher, these are the tools and this is the training that will take your sessions to a whole new level and help you improve results for your students and clients.
And you can still get early bird pricing until October 1…
