Ihave some exciting news to share with you about December, but first I want to thank you for your help in November.
Because of your support last month, we were able to make a very nice donation to support Hurricane Sandy disaster relief.
Thank YOU! We couldn’t have made that kind of difference without you.
That Holiday Feeling
The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year. I look forward to certain aspects of every season, but there is something about the winter holiday that feels extra special and exciting—it’s a feeling in the air!
With little kids at home, there is a sense of eager anticipation that comes with the holidays. Of course I also love the festivities, the decorations, the smells and the food—it all contributes to this wonderful holiday feeling.
But beyond all that, the thing that makes the holiday season so wonderful to me is the peaceful and joyful sense of community.
Oh no, That Holiday FEELING!
On the flip side, the holidays can also bring big stress and extra pressure to get things done; accept every invitation we receive; be the person we’re “supposed” to be.
I’ve found that now is the most critical time to move my self-care focus to the top of the to-do list and I’m grateful for the studio and space that allows me to do that.
I hope that Pilates Tonic can be a place where you take a breather from your hectic life. I want the studio to be a peaceful place where you can leave your to-do list at the door and just be relaxed and present with mind and body during a Pilates/stretch class, or private session.
So with peace, love and Pilates in mind we are excited to kick off December as the month of Holiday Happiness!
Here's How It Works for the Month of December
Each week this month we will have a drawing and will give away mat classes, reformer classes, and private sessions.
Each time you come to the studio to take a class, or private session, you can enter your name for a chance to win one of the weekly drawings. You just sign your name on an entry and drop it in one of the labeled holiday bowls at the front desk.
There'll be separate drawings for mat classes, reformer classes and private sessions. Each time you visit, you get to throw another entry in the bowl. The more visits, the better your chances of winning.
But Wait There's More! 🙂
At the end of the month I'll be taking all of the month’s entries from all classes and private sessions together for one last drawing for a $100 gift certificate to use at the studio.
I hope your holidays are off to a magnificent start… remember to take some time for mind and body and I look forward to seeing you in the studio!
Peace, Love and Pilates,
Sydney

Thanks Sydney for bringing to the front of my already busy mind that Pilates is the one thing I don’t need to leave off of my list! I know I deserve an hour for myself a day and Pilates is so good for me! I always enjoy the classes. Pilates is my favorite exercise! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing Anne. You’ll be amazed by how much more you actually get accomplished when you do keep yourself at the top of your “to do” list and preserve that hour for yourself each day!
